Premier League side Southampton are suffering a torrid time on and off the pitch at the moment.
The home defeat to Everton last Saturday was already their eighth defeat of the league campaign.

Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has a huge job on his hands to get the team’s confidence back up and to lead them to positive results.
Midfielder Oriol Romeu has identified three things that they must start to do to avoid relegation to the Championship. As quoted on the Daily Echo, he said:
We can scratch some points and get back to where we want to be.
We’ve got Arsenal next, which is going to be hard, but after that we’ve got five games and there we need to be really sharp.
We need to be braver, more clinical and score more goals.

The Saints really need to tighten up at the back because they’re simply leaking too many goals for a top-flight team.
Hasenhuttl’s side have shipped 29 goals in 12 league games, which simply is not good enough.
It’s time to get back to basics and do the simple things right, and then they’ll be able to build from there. Attacking wise, they’ve got to convert their chances and keep providing Danny Ings with chances.
