These Saints fans are spot on. There’s no point wasting time pursuing Foden because City will not let him leave, even on a short-term loan deal.
With fixtures coming thick and fast, the young Englishman is likely to be handed more playing time that before.
Also, the champions have injury problems in midfield which is also good news for Foden, because it means he will be playing a bigger role for the team.
