Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster has been in fine form for Celtic since joining the Scottish champions on a season-long loan deal.
Forster made the switch in the summer transfer window and has cemented his position as Celtic’s number one goalkeeper.

He fell heavily out of favour at the Saints and is behind Angus Gunn and Alex McCarthy in the pecking order at the St Mary’s.
Celtic are keen to sign Forster on a permanent basis but a report on the Transfer Tavern states that his £70,000-a-week wages could prove to be a problem.
Is this good news for Southampton?

Celtic are keen to sign Forster and it seems manager Ralph Hasenhuttl doesn’t have him in his plans for the future, so selling him would be the best option for the Saints.
The Premier League club needs to hope that Forster agrees to either take a pay-cut or Celtic fulfil his wage demands.
Either way, the Hoops are expected to not pay such a high amount of wages per-week just for one player, so this could hinder a possible deal.
