Southampton have received a double fitness boost ahead of the clash with Manchester City.
The Saints face Pep Guardiola’s side for the second time this week at the Etihad Stadium after losing 3-1 in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

As reported on Goal, Moussa Djenepo is back in full training after suffering an injury in September, whilst Sofiane Boufal suffered a minor problem in midweek at the Etihad which he has shrugged off.
The game comes slightly too soon for Djenepo but Boufal will be hoping to feature. Hasenhuttl said:
They [Djenepo and Cedric] trained today for the first time with the team which is positive.
Moussa was very, very positive. He was immediately laughing. He has such a positive nature, it’s fantastic. Sofiane had a bit of a problem with his knee and Reddie had a tackle in the session which he felt on his knee, but they are both ok. Maybe two players back for the bench as an option.

The news will be welcomed by every person associated with the club. Djenepo started the season in good form and was beginning to show his importance to the team before his unfortunate muscle injury.
There’s no need to rush the attacker back into action because that could aggravate his injury.
The best thing to do is get him back into action slowly as he’ll be a key player over the festive period.
