Paulo Gazzaniga put in a wonderful display for Tottenham Hotspur against Liverpool on Sunday.
The north London club went on to lose the match, but former-Southampton shot-stopper Gazzaniga made a string of fine saves for his side.
His performance earned him plenty of praise and these Saints fans couldn’t help but regret the decision to let him leave the club…

READ SOUTHAMPTON VERDICT
Gazzaniga left Southampton in the summer of 2017 and has gone on to develop into a fine goalkeeper.
The club can’t really be blamed for allowing him to leave because during his time with the Saints, he wasn’t as assured and confident as he is now.
He was prone to making mistakes and had very uncertain handling, which is why he was allowed to make the move to Spurs, which did surprise many people. He’s now flourishing, much like several other players who moved from Southampton.
