Southampton captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has called for Southampton to start doing their talking through their actions.
The Saints fell to a horrendous 9-0 defeat at home against Leicester City on Friday night and take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup tomorrow.

Hojbjerg revealed that the players need to bounce back from the defeat, no matter who they are up against.
As quoted on the Independent, the midfielder said:
I don’t care who is coming up. Our actions have to speak. We never want to be in this position again or anywhere near it. We have to get back up and make sure this never happens again.
We can put quotes out, apologise and say something, but the only thing that’s the real deal now is actions.
Actions that are nowhere near what they were against Leicester. We can never show our faces like this again.
Is Hojbjerg right?

Definitely. The time for words and speaking is over. It’s time to do the talking on the pitch.
Southampton fans will be looking for an improvement at the Etihad Stadium but expecting a win against the defending champions may be a step too far.
All the fans need to see is an encouraging performance. Some fight, hunger and determination.
