Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand was sent off after just 12 minutes against Leicester City.
The full-back’s challenge on Ayoze Perez was reviewed by VAR and he was sent for a very early bath.
The Saints were already a goal down when Bertrand was dismissed and that only made matters worse. These fans were not impressed…

READ SOUTHAMPTON VERDICT
It was a bad challenge by Bertrand and deserved to be given the straight red card.
The Englishman took a heavy touch and Leicester’s Perez stole the ball before Bertrand’s studs caught the winger high on the leg.
The challenge was made in the build-up to the visitors’ opening goal, with VAR coming back to send the left-back off. Correct decision and unfortunately for Southampton, that was a good usage of the new technology.
