Southampton will be looking to record their first win in four league games when they welcome Leicester City to St Mary’s on Friday evening.
Ralph Hasenhuttl insists his side have a point to prove after a dismal run of form on the South Coast, but Saints come into this one off the back of a 1-1 away stalemate with Wolves, despite previously having lost three successive top-flight fixtures.
Leicester have only recorded one Premier League victory on the road so far this season. This came against Sheffield United at the end of August.
But with Brendan Rogers and co having slipped to defeats at Liverpool and Manchester United on their most recent travels, they will most certainly see this game as an opportunity to turn things around.
Southampton took the spoils last time these two sides met in the Premier League. However, they have not beaten the Foxes on home soil since January 2017.
I have taken a look at the key battles ahead of tomorrow evening’s clash under the lights at St Mary’s.
