Mario Lemina could be set to return to Southampton in the January transfer window.
The midfielder joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal but may have to return to England because of the foreign players rule in Turkey.

Teams are allowed 14 foreign players in their squad and Galatasaray have filled that quota, but manager Fatih Terim is eager to introduce Martin Linnes into his squad due to current full-back problems.
That means one foreign player needs to go and Fotomac, as quoted on Sport Witness, claim Lemina could be the one to make way.
Is this a blessing in disguise for the Saints?

Maybe. Lemina was always very inconsistent for Southampton. One week he would put in a brilliant performance and the next he would rarely be seen.
However, his return could inject some life into the team’s midfield. It will also keep the other players on their toes because competition for a starting position would intensify.
Lemina has only featured four times for Galatasaray this season and a move back to his parent club might be best for him.
