Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl believes his side could be in for a “wild” battle with Chelsea later today.
The Saints welcome Frank Lampard’s Blues to the St Mary’s Stadium as they look to prevent a third successive league defeat.

Hasenhuttl knows that it will be a tough test for his side but he’s looking forward to an intense battle. As quoted on Sky Sports, He said:
The first half will be very intense I think. Sometimes it can be a little wild because there is a team that is playing very quick in front and we do it the same. It can be sometimes a little unorganised or a little bit wild but this is what I expect.
It is a very strong team. It is a team that is young, hungry, with good committed [players], a good spirit so if you want to get something you really have to come very close to the highest level you can perform at.
Is Hasenhuttl talking sense?
READ SOUTHAMPTON VERDICT
Absolutely. both teams like to play high energy football and that could result in a pulsating encounter.
Chelsea are full of confidence at the moment and are scoring goals for fun, whereas the Saints will be determined to press the Blues and make it difficult for them to enjoy possession.
Taking all these factors and tactics on board, Hasenhuttl’s prediction seems like the most probable outcome. So, strap yourselves in and expect a belting game.
