Southampton travel away to face Sheffield United in the Premier League at Bramall Lane this weekend.
Saints go into the game off the back of some good results in both the league and cup, and have been unbeaten in three games. The 1-1 draw with Manchester United will instill a lot of confidence in the dressing room ahead of this weekend’s clash.
Sheffield United have impressed since their return to the Premier League, only losing once so far this season, with the Blades currently sitting 10th in the league. They pulled off a great comeback against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out, and will look to carry on their good form against the Saints.
There are a few injury concerns for the Saints, with Redmond out through injury, and Kevin Danso will be on the sidelines through suspension. Ryan Bertrand returns ahead of the game, and Djenepo could make his return against the Blades. Obafemi could also be set to come back to the side after injury.
David McGoldrick and Callum Robinson are both doubts for this weekend’s clash, and their fitness is being monitored. Blades midfielder John Fleck is also a doubt, who is currently suffering from a hamstring injury.
This is set up to be a good game, with both sides playing well, and going into the game equal. However, I believe that Saints can get a win at Bramall Lane, but it will definitely be a difficult game for Hasenhuttl’s side.
