Mario Lemina looks set to join Turkish outfit Galatasaray on a season-long loan deal, in what could be a good move for all involved.
According to Turkish media outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray will completed a loan move for the out of favour midfielder before the European transfer window shuts on Monday, though the report does not mention any potential future fee.
So why would this be a good move for all involved?

Firstly, we all know how Ralph Hasenhuttl sees Lemina as being surplus to requirements, so a move away was essential for the midfielder in his pursuit of first team football.
And while he is arguably talented enough to play in a league with greater quality than the Turkish Super Lig, Lemina will no doubt just be happy to be on his way out of Southampton and on his way to a club where he will play regular first team football.
That brings us on to why it is a good move for Saints, as there would have been no point keeping the midfielder at the club, given Hasenhuttl’s desire to ship him out.
Galatasaray will also benefit from the move, hence why they are pursuing the midfielder, as Lemina will have a point to prove to those at Southampton and will therefore be keen to impress in Turkey.
