Southampton travel to the Amex Stadium on Saturday looking for their first points of the new season after back to back defeats.
Brighton and Hove Albion have started the campaign unbeaten after an opening-day victory away to Watford and were held by West Ham at home in their last game.
In this fixture last season, Southampton came away winners thanks to a smart finish from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as both sides were fighting for Premier League survival.
Brighton have a new look this season under Graham Potter, with a fresh set-up and system which is very similar to that of Ralph Hasenhuttl’s.
Potter has so far utilised a back three, with orthodox wing-backs and a block of midfielders ahead. He has, however, made rotations to his attacking setup since taking over.
With both sides playing a similar formation, I have opted for this Combined XI to be set up in a 5-2-1-2.
Take a look at who I have selected!
