The 25-year-old joined Saints from Norwich City in 2016, signing a five-year contract that was set to expire in 2021. However, he’s now committed his future to the club until 2023 and Saints fans have been reacting to the news.
The majority of supporters seem happy to see that the Englishman has committed his future to Saints.
Nathan Redmond signing a new deal is superb news for #saintsfc
Had a brilliant season last year and will only improve under Hassenhuttl!

Redmond new contract is both excellent news and a (likely insufficient) sop to fans to make up for no new CB #saintsfc

Whilst Saints fans across the globe will be hoping to a couple of transfers on deadline day, the news that Redmond has committed his future to the club is most welcome.
The player admitted that he did not feel completely settled last summer but he’s been given a new lease of life under Ralph Hassenhuttl and aged 25, Saints should now have the winger for his prime years and hopefully he can help guide Saints to success in the future.
