Southampton are reportedly among the teams interested in signing Lorient youngster Alexis Claude-Maurice.
According to a report from Calcio Mercato, Torino are rivalling the Saints for the player, while West Ham have also made a €12 million bid for the player.
The Hammers have made the first move to sign the player, but Claude-Maurice has remained a Lorient player for the time being. It remains to be seen if Manuel Pellegrini’s side will step up their interest with an improved bid.

Highly rated in Ligue 2, Claude-Maurice is being heavily tipped to move on this summer, with a big European move seemingly waiting to happen.
His performances for Lorient did not go unnoticed, as he scored 14 times for the French outfit.
Ralph Hasenhuttl has certainly made it clear that the club are targetting younger players, in a bid to return to the ‘Southampton way’ and Claude-Maurice fits the bill.
