Southampton’s Gabonese midfielder Mario Lemina is a target for many sides this summer, and another team may be joining the race to sign him.
According to GFFN, Saint Etienne are looking at a potential deal for the midfielder, who looks to be on his way out of Southampton.
Lemina was left out of the tour of Austria, and has not appeared for the Saints so far during pre-season.
However, a move to Saint Etienne looks unlikely, with the French side unlikely to have the resources to sign the midfielder on a permanent deal.
The French side may be able to secure a loan deal for Lemina, if they could negotiate a reasonable fee.
Reports have suggested that Southampton want a high fee for the midfielder, with reports saying that the Saints have demanded anywhere from £15 million to £30 million for the player.
Wolves are also the latest club to be linked with a move for the midfielder, with Lemina almost certain to leave Southampton this Summer.
