Charlie Austin has deactivated his twitter account after the Saints striker was left out of the team that travelled to Austria for Southampton’s pre-season tour.
The striker’s last tweet was him revealing he had been training with wantaway midfielder Mario Lemina, with the pair both linked with moves away from St Marys.
Austin, who angered some Saints fans for posting pictures of himself wearing a Liverpool shirt on the platform, has now deactivated his account after posting the tweet.

The forward is likely to leave the club, with Austin being firmly out of Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl’s plans for the new season.
The former Burnley and QPR striker was left out of the squad to travel to Austria, and was limited to several substitute appearances since the former RB Leipzig boss was appointed as Saints manager.
Mario Lemina, who is training with Austin, is also gunning for a move away from Southampton, and posted a montage video several days ago on his twitter account, seemingly in a bid to attract interest in his services.
