According to the Daily Echo, the Saints have come to an agreement with the Championship club, and the forward will sign at Ewood Park after completing a medical.

Gallagher has piqued the interest of a number of Championship clubs this summer, with Wigan and Brentford also understood to have made formal approaches.
Gallagher previously spent a season on loan at Ewood Park, scoring 12 times in 47 appearances across all competitions for Rovers.
The Southampton academy graduate also spent a season on loan with Birmingham City, the former club of new summer signing Che Adams.
