Southampton are open to selling Charlie Austin this summer and Championship side West Brom have emerged as a potential destination.
According to a report from Sky Sports, Slaven Bilic’s side are eager to bring in the forward as they go in search of someone to replace Dwight Gayle.
Austin was unable to nail down a regular first-team spot last season under Ralph Hasenhuttl and could now move on to pursue regular game time elsewhere.

After securing a deal to sign long-term target Che Adams from Birmingham City recently, Austin is set to fall further down the pecking order at St Mary’s.
Austin made the move to Southampton from Queens Park Rangers in 2016 in a deal reportedly worth £4 million.
The striker has been troubled by injuries throughout his time at the club and as a result, has never really been able to nail down a consistent run in the team, scoring just 16 league goals over the course of four years.
