Southampton have reportedly launched a loan bid to sign Milan striker Andre Silva.
According to reports in Italy from Gazzetta dello Sport, as cited on Calcio Mercato, Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men made a loan bid that included an option to buy for a fee of around €18 million.
It is claimed that the offer was deemed too low by the Italian side, who value the striker closer to the €25 million mark.

While the first offer appears to have been rejected, the report does suggest that the Portuguese forward could move on this summer if a suitable bid were to come in for him.
Silva joined Milan in a big-money deal worth nearly €40 million back in 2017 but has failed to impress there.
He spent the last season on loan with Sevilla in La Liga, where he scored 11 goals in all competitions.
The striker has been linked with a Premier League move in the past, with Wolves previously interested in a deal.
