Birmingham City have accepted a bid of £16million for striker Che Adams from Southampton.
According to the Daily Mail, Saints’ latest offer of £16million has been accepted by the Championship side and the striker has said his goodbyes to his teammates at Birmingham.
Saints are said to have funded the move with the initial £14million they are set to receive from Aston Villa for defender Matt Targett, with that fee set to rise to £17million in add ons.

Adams scored 22 times for Birmingham last season in 46 Championship appearances, and the striker also created five assists.
Saints pursued a move for the striker in the January transfer window, but had offers of £12million and £14million both rejected by the Championship side.
The 22-year-old will become Ralph Hasenhuttl’s second signing of the summer transfer window, following the arrival of Moussa Djenepo, who made the £14million move to St. Mary’s earlier this month.
