Celta Vigo are in discussions with Southampton over a permanent move for Sofiane Boufal, though the La Liga side are looking to negotiate a lower fee for the winger.
Boufal joined Celta on loan last summer and the La Liga outfit initially agreed on an optional future fee of €16million for the winger.
However according to Spanish outfit Atlantico, Celta are hoping to negotiate a lower fee for Boufal and are currently in discussions with Saints over a reduced fee.

The Morocco international is said to be keen on a move to Vigo this summer, after making 35 league appearances during his loan spell last season, and the report suggests the fee could drop to €8million.
Boufal has struggled to make an impact at Saints following his then club record £16million move from LOSC Lille in 2016, scoring just four goals and assisting three in 66 appearances in all competitions.
