Southampton have been linked with a move for Hull City star Jarrod Bowen after the winger’s strong season in the Championship.
A report in the Hull Daily Mail suggests that the Saints are one of the Premier League clubs interested in the 22-year-old on the back of a number of impressive performances.
After establishing himself in the Hull side in 2017/18, Bowen kicked on again last year as he scored 22 goals and assisted four more in 46 games for the Tigers – who finished 13th.
He finished ten goals ahead of the Humberside club’s next highest scorer, Frazier Campbell, and was joint sixth in the scoring charts across the whole league.

That appears to have impressed the Saints, who could now be set to make a play for Bowen this summer.
Despite recently signing Moussa Djenepo, Ralph Hasenhuttl could choose to bring in another wide man with Mohamed Elyounoussi likely to leave.
Nathan Redmond and Josh Sims are other options, however, the latter made only seven appearances under the Austrian manager last campaign.
Also interested in Bowen are Everton, with Marco Silva, who worked with Bowen during his short spell at the KC Stadium in 2017, said to be weighing up an offer.
