Southampton are hoping to sell Guido Carrillo on a permanent basis rather than loan him out again next season.
The Argentine striker spent the 2018/19 campaign on a season-long loan with Leganes in La Liga, scoring six goals in 32 games in the Spanish top flight.
A number of teams, including Boca Juniors, Leganes and Olympiacos, are reportedly interested in taking the 28-year-old on loan for next season, however, the Premier League side want to secure a permanent move away for Carrillo according to the Mirror.
The Saints want to get Carrillo off their wage bill as they look to generate funds for Ralph Hasenhuttl to put his own stamp on the squad.
The Austrian manager is set to make a number of changes at St Mary’s, with Carrillo one of those transfer listed by the former RB Leipzig boss.

Carrillo’s 21 goals in 95 games for AS Monaco was enough to convince the Saints to make him their record purchase, splashing £19.1 million on the forward in January 2018.
The transfer did not work out, though, with Carrillo playing just ten games without scoring a single goal before being shipped out to Spain six months after joining.
It is expected that Southampton will have to accept a bid much lower than the fee they paid, although the report states Southampton are happy to do so in order to get Carrillo off their books.
