Ralph Hasenhuttl has taken just a two-week holiday and is already back at Southampton ahead of next season, report the Daily Echo.
While the Saints players won’t return for pre-season training until late June, the Austrian has not allowed himself such a luxury.
Hasenhuttl enjoyed a fortnight away, following a stressful season that saw Southampton eventually manage to pull clear of the relegation zone.
Transfer business is thought to be one of his primary aims currently, as he looks to “shift a significant number of players this summer”, as well as bring in some new faces.
A move that is thought to be edging closer is the £14million signing of Standard Liege winger Moussa Djenepo.
Hasenhuttl is also planning to “beef up” his backroom team, having only brought in Danny Rohl last season.
Finally, tactical work is also a major of point of focus, with the 51-year-old hellbent on having his players fully up to speed with his style of play, in what will be his first pre-season at St Mary’s.
