Fulham have reignited their interest in Southampton full-back Matt Targett once again, after failing in their attempts to sign the defender last summer.
According to Sky Sports News, Fulham are looking to sign the defender once again this summer following their relegation back down to the Championship, after Targett played a key role in their promotion to the Premier League in 2018.
The full-back made 21 appearances for Fulham in his short team loan deal from January until the end of the 2017/18 season, as The Cottagers won promotion to the top flight in the play-off final.

Saints rejected Fulham’s £5million bid for Targett prior to the start of last season, and are said to be keen on keeping hold of the 23-year-old once again this summer.
Targett featured 21 times in all competitions for Saints last season, scoring his first goal for the club in a 3-3 draw against Bournemouth.
