Newly-promoted side Norwich City are looking for a replacement goalkeeper after, according to the Daily Mail, conceding a record-breaking amount of goals in one season in the championship, at 57.
Daniel Farke was successful in the race to promotion after beating contenders Leeds United and Sheffield United to the top spot and proved that his side were ready to be apart of the Premier League.
But doubt increased throughout the season over whether or not Norwich’s number one, Tim Krul is up to the standards needed to be a Premier League goalkeeper. This doubt has caused Farke to search for another goalkeeper.

According to the report, Farke has had his eye on multiple replacement keepers including Burnley’s Joe Hart, Liverpool’s Simon Mignolet and Southampton’s Alex McCarthy who have all been made second choice at their respective clubs.
Norwich have however been priced-out of deals for all three keepers and are, according to a report from the Mail, on a limited budget of £20 million and are therefore unable to bring any of the Premier League goalkeepers into their squad as replacements for Tim Krul.
But Norwich do have their sights set on Rijeka keeper Sluga, who is available and more affordable for the newly promoted side at £1.8 million.
