Southampton youngster Michael Obafemi has revealed that he thinks he will beat Paris Saint Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe in a race, as reported on the Daily Echo.
Mbappe is well-known for his incredible speed, which was clear for everyone to see during the 2018 World Cup.
The Frenchman’s lightning quick sprint against Argentina at the tournament will live in the memory of those watching for a long time, but Obafemi is backing himself against Mbappe.

He said:
He’d be left behind, don’t worry about that.
I ran 100 metres in 10.8 seconds about two years ago. I don’t know what I’d clock now but I’m very confident about getting in behind defenders.
The young striker has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a hamstring injury.
The 18-year-old scored his first Premier League goal for the Saints in December against Huddersfield Town but has struggled with injury since then.
