All was going well for Southampton against Liverpool last night after Shane Long fired the hosts into an unlikely lead early on, but once Naby Keita’s 36th-minute equaliser went in there only seemed to be one result on the cards.
The Reds’ quality showed as Mohamed Salah found the net from range to put Jurgen Klopp’s side ahead late on again before Jordan Henderson secured another huge three points in the Premier League title race.
Southampton played well though and looked like a team too good to go down, which is unlikely at this stage as they sit five points above the drop zone with six games left.
There were plenty of notable individual performances, but who was your Man of the Match at St. Mary’s?
