Southampton’s St Mary’s stadium could reportedly play host to England’s European qualifier against Kosovo in September.
According to Sky Sports News, England will once again look to take their games on the road, something they have been increasingly keen to do in recent months.
By playing away from Wembley, the national team are able to attract supporters from up an down the country, taking advantage of the increased demand from fans after the success the country enjoyed at the World Cup in Russia.

It would not be the first time that the England squad have travelled down to the south coast.
They faced Macedonia way back in 2002 in a game that finished 2-2.
Elland Road and the King Power Stadium have been used for games recently, while Sunderland’s Stadium of Light has also played host to the England team in years gone by.
The Three Lions started their qualifying campaign off with a bang recently, beating the Czech Republic 5-0 and Montenegro 5-1.
