Southampton and Barcelona are eyeing respective moves for promising attacker Jordan D’Ambrosio, according to French news outlet Foot Mercato.
The striker would be available on a free transfer after rejecting a deal with Sochaux recently and is reportedly interesting La Liga giants Barca and Sevilla, as well as Cardiff City.
The 18-year-old is highly sought after and looks set to have a big future ahead of him. Saints are known to develop young players and help them reach their potential, so a move to St Mary’s could be a tempting offer for the youngster.

With Ralph Hasenhuttl bringing through several youth players into the first-team fold at Southampton, D’Ambrosio could favour a switch to St Mary’s Stadium.
The forward was close to joining French champions Paris Saint-Germain last season, but a deal fell through.
Both Saints and Cardiff have been fairly goal-shy this season and will be certainly hoping to add the young prospect to their ranks as they fight relegation from the Premier League and plan for the future.
