Southampton will display patience in the final week of the January transfer window, according to the Daily Echo.
Saints are yet to bring in a new face this month, but they are still believed to be “eyeing the market”.
The aim is still to bring in one or two new players before the January 31st deadline, although it will be difficult.
Southampton are likely to have to sell before they buy, only making the situation more difficult.

Fraser Forster and Wesley Hoedt are two big earners who could be moved on, with neither featuring in Ralph Hasenhuttl’s plans at St Mary’s.
It has been a quiet month on the transfer front in the Premier League in general, with not many notable incomings.
Chances are Saints will have to make do with what they have until the summer, although some late business cannot be completely ruled out.
Hasenhuttl’s side are preparing for their Premier League clash at home to Crystal Palace on January 30th.
