Southampton and West Ham have both reportedly lodged bids to sign young Southend United striker Charlie Kelman.
According to Football Insider, Kelman is on the radar of both clubs after catching the eye at youth level.
Kelman made his first-team debut over the weekend in a 3-2 defeat at home to Plymouth Argyle and hit the headlines with an incredible strike from the halfway line in the final moments of the game.
Big things are expected of Kelman after he scored 61 goals at youth level last season, with Premier League teams beginning to circle.

The report claims that both teams had scouts at the game, paying close attention to Kelman.
With the striker now starting to shine at a first-team level, Chris Powell’s side can expect a fight to keep hold of the player.
Southampton have been known to swoop in for some of the country’s best young talents in recent years and Kelman could become the next player on their books.
