Southampton have joined the race to sign Leeds United winger Jack Clarke, according to a report.
The 18-year-old has been one of the standout young players in the Championship since he was brought into the first team in October by Marcelo Bielsa, and his impressive performances have alerted a number of clubs to his outstanding ability.

Clarke has scored two goals for Leeds, against Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa, and he also has two assists to his name, including the one he laid on for Kemar Roofe to score the Whites’ opener during their 2-0 win over Derby County on Friday night.
Clarke is under contract with the Yorkshire-based club until the summer of 2021 and unless they get an offer they simply cannot turn down, Leeds will not look to sell the teenager this month.
However, if things go pear-shaped for Bielsa’s side and they don’t earn promotion this season, a summer move for the winger could be on the cards.
