AC Milan have reportedly cooled their interest in Southampton striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
The Italy international forward has been linked with a move away from St Mary’s, with his form with the Saints having declined in recent months.
However, according to Il Milanista, a website subsidiary of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan manager Gennaro Gattuso has decided against pursuing a deal for the 27-year old.

According to the report, Gattuso prefers players who are versatile and can also play out wide as well as through the middle. The former Rossoneri midfielder doesn’t feel Gabiaddini can do that job, and so will drop his interest.
Saints signed the Italian from Napoli in January 2017 for around £14million, and the forward has scored ten goals in 47 Premier League appearances.
The misfiring forward has scored just one in eight games this season.
