Southampton’s chase for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano could be under threat, with Bayern Munich and AC Milan both looking at the Frenchman.
Upamecano has been linked with a move to Milan and Bayern in a report by Calcio Mercato, with Saints previously being touted with a move for the defender.
New Southampton boss Ralph Hassenhuttl has been linked with a move for his former defender, despite Leipzig reportedly demanding a hefty fee for the defender.

Leipzig reportedly want over £30 million for the defender, a whole £11 million more than Southampton paid for flop record signing Guido Carrilo.
Upamecano has been touted as a top European talent, and has been linked with top sides across Europe.
The Frenchman’s side currently sit in fourth place in the Bundesliga, and currently have one of the best defensive records in the German top flight.
Southampton are in need of defensive reinforcements after some poor recent performances.
