Southampton are being linked with an eye-catching move to sign former Real Madrid defender Pepe.
According to reports, Southampton are believed to be interested in signing the player who is now a free agent.
It was confirmed earlier this week that Pepe was to leave Besiktas, with the Portuguese stalwart now available to sign for nothing.
Pepe has already been linked with a number of moves, but a Premier League switch could be tempting for the experienced defender.

Despite Southampton’s lowly position in the Premier League, fans will be hoping that Ralph Hasenhuttl can convince the player into a move to St Mary’s.
The defence has been a problem area for the Saints this season and it will no doubt be something that Hasenhuttl wants to address when the transfer window opens in January.
Unfortunately for Southampton, the club have one of the worst defensive records in the division this season. Only Cardiff, Burnley and Fulham have conceded more goals.
