Southampton have reportedly set their sights on former RB Leipzig manager Ralph Hasenhuttl to replace Mark Hughes.
The Telegraph reports that the Saints have earmarked Hasenhuttl as their number one target, despite contrasting reports suggesting otherwise.
A host of names, including Quique Sanchez Flores and Paulo Sousa have been linked with the role, but it appears the former Bundesliga boss is the man the Saints want.

The report claims that the club are hopeful of making an appointment before the game against Cardiff at the weekend, as they look to act quickly following Hughes’ departure.
Kelvin Davis has been put in temporary charge for the game against Tottenham at Wembley on Wednesday.
Hasenhuttl has been out of work since leaving the controversial Bundesliga outfit in the summer but remains highly regarded within European football.
The 48-year-old earned plenty of plaudits for the style of play he implemented during his time in Germany.
