Saints defender Matt Targett has revealed he will be a doubt for Southampton’s clash with Man United after some injury issues midweek.
Targett was taken off in Southampton’s penalty defeat to Leicester in midweek, complaining of vision issues.
The Foxes won on penalties after Manolo Gabbiadini’s penalty was saved by Leicester goalkeeper Danny Ward.

Speaking to the Mirror, Targett revealed that he could be a doubt for the game on Saturday.
I got a bang in the head and struggled to see through my left eye with the floodlights. I’ll find out if I can play in the next couple of days.
Targett also revealed he is excited for the visit of United, despite Southampton’s poor performance of late.
Any home game you have to be positive and try and pick up as many points as possible at home. We haven’t done that enough this season. It will be a good chance to start on Saturday.
It would do us the world of good and get the fans back on our side. Hopefully we can turn things around but it’s the Premier League – no easy games.
