Shoya Nakajima is being tracked by four Bundesliga clubs, alongside interest from Southampton.
The Portimonense winger has been impressing in Portugal so far this season, and has attracted the interest of clubs from all over Europe.
Aged 24, Nakajima is one of the smallest professional footballers you are likely to find. Standing tall (?) at 5 feet and 4.5 inches, the Japan international certainly won’t be towering over any of his opponents.
More likely to be running through their legs, Nakajima has been in red-hot form to start the 2018-19 campaign. Scoring four goals in nine appearances, the former FC Tokyo star has also been a source of creativity for his club.

According to reports, it’s form like this that has caught the eye of officials at several prominent Bundesliga clubs.
The named clubs include Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolfsburg, and Stuttgart.
Stiff competition for the Saints! Eager to add to their roster of wingers in January, don’t be surprised if Nakajima is the only wide-man Southampton have identified as a possible signing.
