Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola believes Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse is the best corner taker in the Premier League.
City strolled to a 6-1 win over Saints on Sunday but despite the scoreline, Southampton created some chances, with only two shots on target less than the Premier League leaders.
In a press conference, Guardiola spoke about how his side had shown that their defence needs to improve after failing to hold the Saints frontline on occasions.

Guardiola highlighted this as he felt City gave away too many corners in the game and that was a major problem, as Ward-Prowse is the best corner taker in the league.
As quoted by the Independent, Guardiola said:
We played with the ball so good but not without the ball. We were not stable behind. We concede a lot of corner kicks and with the best taker in the league [Ward-Prowse] like Southampton had.
Ward-Prowse has not been a regular part of the Saints line-up this season, with the game against Manchester City being only his fourth league appearance since the start of the season.
