Manolo Gabbiadini is refusing to rule out a return to Italy with Bologna after enjoying a spell at the club previously.
Speaking to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, as cited on Calciomercato, Gabbiadini discussed the prospect of leaving Southampton in the future.
The striker spent a year on loan at Bologna from Juventus and scored seven goals during his time there.
Despite not appearing to rule out a move away from St Mary’s, the Italian was quick to reiterate that he is currently happy at the club.
I’m happy to be here, it was my choice and no one forced me to accept it.
If one day Bologna wants to make a serious proposal, I will talk with the prosecutor and together we will decide.

The former Napoli man was heavily linked with moves away from the Premier League over the summer after falling out of favour under Mark Hughes.
The Southampton boss has largely preferred to use Shane Long ahead of Gabbiadini, making regular game time hard to come by.
Already this season, he has made just one start and came off the bench six times in the Premier League.
If game time does not improve for the striker, you can expect to see him once again linked with moves away in the new year.
