Southampton midfielder Steven Davis is being linked with a move back to Rangers after falling out of favour under Mark Hughes.
According to the Express, as cited on HITC, Steven Gerrard is keen to bring the Northern Irishman back to the club that he left in 2012.
Davis spent four years at Rangers before their demise in Scottish football but left the club as a free agent to join the Saints.

The midfielder has been a key part of the Southampton squad since joining but has struggled to make an impact under Hughes, being limited to just one substitute appearance this season.
There are now suggestions that he could be moved on in the January window in a bid to find regular first-team football elsewhere.
Gerrard has already re-signed the likes of Allan McGregor and Kyle Lafferty for Rangers and Davis could be the next man to return to the club.
