Besiktas are back in talks with Southampton about a possible deal to sign goalkeeper Fraser Forster, according to Serdar Saridag of Milliyet.
The Turkish side enquired about a move for Forster earlier in the summer but Southampton’s asking price put them off making a serious offer.
However, having sold Fabri to Fulham, Besiktas need a new goalkeeper and it looks like Forster is back on their radar.

Saridag reports that Besiktas’ top target is Liverpool’s Loris Karius but the Reds are only be willing to sell either Karius or Simon Mignolet, not both, so they could keep the young German as their backup until January at the earliest if they allow Mignolet the move he’s requested.
If that is the case, then the Turkish giants will reportedly make a push for Forster, who will be open to a transfer having been replaced as the Saints’ number one by Alex McCarthy.
Besiktas seem keen to loan a goalkeeper with the option of a purchase next year, but it’s unknown if Saints would be willing to accept such an offer.
