Southampton have won the race to sign Swiss wonder-kid Alexandre Jankewitz, according to Tutto Mercato Web.
The 16-year old midfielder, who plays for Servette in the Swiss second tier, had been linked with Manchester United, Tonttenham and Juventus, but the Saints have apparently beat out the competition.
The Switzerland youth international will join the club for around £1.5million.
The midfielder has made appearances for Switzerland’s U-16 and U-17 teams, having played in the U-17 European Championships earlier this year. At club level, he was a regular starter for Servette in the U-18 Swiss league last season.
