Southampton are set to reignite their interest in Monaco winger Rachid Ghezzal, Football Insider reports.
Th Algerian winger has been a long-term target for the Saints after they tried to sign him back in 2016 when he was playing his football for Lyon.
Ghezzal sealed a switch to Monaco just last summer on a free transfer.
Southampton are keen to add to their attacking options this transfer window and improve on a disappointing campaign last time out which saw them only narrowly avoid relegation.

Mark Hughes has already has already made four new additions to his side this summer and Ghezzal could be the fifth name added to that list.
The winger was a target for several Premier League sides last summer before opting to join up with Monaco.
However, after just one season with Monaco the Ligue 1 side could look to cash in on the Algerian and make a big profit this summer.
With Southampton having already seen both Dusan Tadic and Sofiane Boufal leave the club this summer, Ghezzal could provide the perfect replacement.
