Southampton midfielder Jordy Clasie is set to join Feyenoord on season-long loan, according to a report from Martijn Krabbendam of Dutch outlet VI.
The 27-year-old, who spent the 2017/18 season with Club Brugge in Belgium, has agreed to return to Feyenoord, the club with whom he started his professional career.
The Dutchman signed for Saints in 2015 but he’s seemingly fallen out of favour and as such, he’s set to be loaned out for the entire 2018/19 campaign.

Clasie has apparently left the Southampton training base in France, and he will report for pre-season duty with Feyenoord on Wednesday morning.
A lot was expected of Clasie when he first signed for Southampton but despite some early signs of promise, he was never really able to establish himself in the club’s first-team, hence his loan to Brugge last season and his move to Feyenoord this year.
