It has been reported that Leicester City, managed by former Saints boss Claude Puel, are just one club which are looking at taking Dusan Tadic away from St Mary’s in the upcoming summer transfer window, according to Calcio Mercato.
Leicester City have been subject to much speculation about the exiting of Riyad Mahrez, and it is believed that Puel sees his former player Tadic as a potential replacement to the Algerian superstar.
It has been said that Mahrez has withdrawn his transfer request, which in January and early February resulted in him going on strike from Leicester City.
However, the Tadic transfer to Leicester is most likely speculation as it was reported throughout Puel’s short tenure on the South Coast that himself and Tadic did not get along.

However, the Foxes are just one team looking fondly at Tadic, as it is also believed that Dutch giants Ajax will attempt to bring him to the Netherlands.
In addition, Gennaro Gattuso is reportedly also looking fondly at Tadic and will give Southampton an offer to bring him to the San Siro and to Italian giants AC Milan.
Tadic’s current contract runs out in the summer of 2020, so this could give Southampton a hefty fee for the Serbian, especially if the Saints secure safety in the Premier League on the last day of the season against Manchester City on Sunday.
