Southampton’s Nathan Redmond has promised the club’s fans that the team will “fight” for them as the Saints face a crucial trip to Swansea on Tuesday night.
Saints came close to picking up a vital three points at Goodison Park as they were cruelly struck by a late Tom Davies equaliser.
Redmond got on the scoresheet and played a vital role in getting the Saints into the lead after enduring a tough season at the club.
Southampton currently sit outside of the relegation zone and ahead of Swansea City on goal difference as they gear up for their trip to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday evening.

It’s set to be a huge night in South Wales as both sides battle for their Premier League status in what promises to be the biggest game of both sides’ respective seasons.
Redmond, as quoted by the club’s official website, spoke following the draw in Merseyside last night:
You see from the support from the fans today, they were fantastic and, as long as they’re all backing us, we’re going to continue to fight for them as well. It gives us faith.
Listening to the fans when we’re out there it gives us even more. They believe, we believe, and together we can go on to secure our Premier League status. It’s a big game for us and Swansea.
We’ve turned in two massive performances over the last week and we need another one on Tuesday. Anything less is not going to cut it.
