Championship winners Wolves are keen on a summer deal to sign Alex McCarthy from Southampton, according to claims from the Mirror.
McCarthy has been in fine form for the Saints, which has brought the attention of Wolves, who are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper.
Saints are still in heavy danger of being relegated to the Championship, meaning a number of first-team players would leave the club, with McCarthy seemingly a target for other sides.

The 28-year-old has been forced to wait for his opportunity on the South Coast, with the coaching staff under Claude Puel and Mauricio Pellegrino respectively persisting with Fraser Forster for much of the time the former Palace man has spent at the club. Mark Hughes has since utilised McCarthy as his first-choice goalkeeper.
John Ruddy is currently at Wolves but it remains to be seen if he will be taken up with them to the Premier League, with the club being given a huge financial boost to recruit fresh faces ahead of next season.
